Camarones a la Diabla

Living in Southern California, I’m extremely blessed to have so many amazing options for Mexican cuisine all around me. From popular hotspots to hole-in-the-wall treasures, Los Angeles is a haven for foodies like myself. I’m often inspired by the food I try at restaurants, so I wind up making my own version at home. Today’s inspiration? Camarones a la Diabla, a delicious shrimp dish that is super popular for good reason. If I told you that you could make a saucy shrimp dish that was bursting with flavor in under 10 minutes, would you believe me? If the answer is no, get ready to become a believer! This recipe for Camarones a la Diabla consists of shrimp cooked in a simple homemade red chile sauce. It’s quick, spicy, saucy, easy to make, and packed with fresh and savory flavors. Of the many seafood and shrimp recipes on my website, this has to be one of my favorites. The spicy red chile sauce has the perfect blend of smoky and spicy flavors and this recipe uses a shortcut to sav...

Whether it was a holiday or I had just gotten an A on a big test, I could always count on getting a special treat for breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, I practically drooled over my plate every time my mother made her French toast for breakfast. However, once I got older and developed a passion for healthy cooking, I made some healthy swaps and created this lightened up version of this childhood classic. Made with indulgent flavors like cinnamon and vanilla, along with healthy ingredients like almond milk and whole grain bread; this recipe for Healthy French Toast is the perfect combination of wholesome and delicious. Every time I have served this dish for family or friends, it has gotten rave reviews. Two Ingredient English Muffins

Two-Ingredient English muffins have changed the breakfast game in my home. They’re made with minimal ingredients, they cook on the stove which means I don’t have to wait around for the oven to heat up, and most importantly—they are absolutely heavenly. These versatile breakfast muffins can be used as the base of your favorite sandwich, coated in a layer of creamy nut butter or sweet jam, or topped with avocado slices for the ultimate avocado toast. The options are truly endless, so get creative and mix it up. If you’re ever bored and looking for something to do around the house, I highly recommend making several batches of two-ingredient dough (2ID) and storing them in the freezer. This is one of my favorite baking hacks because the dough lasts in the freezer for up to 6 months. That means that by dedicating an hour or two to preparing as much 2ID dough as you can, dishes like homemade pizza , bagels , breadsticks , and pretzels will be infinitely easier and quicker to make. For ex...
