Sesame Crusted Tuna

I’m not ashamed to say that this sesame crusted tuna recipe was born out of sheer laziness. One night, I absolutely did not feel like making dinner. I think it’s safe to say we’ve all been there before. Suddenly, I remembered I had a few beautiful ahi tuna steaks in the fridge that I was not about to let go to waste. And thus, this remarkably easy seared tuna dish was born. All you need is some fresh ahi tuna, soy sauce, sesame seeds, and cooking oil to make this mouth-watering dish. Once you’ve got your piping hot skillet ready to go, it only takes a few minutes to sear the fish and then you’re ready to serve. This Sesame Soy Grilled Tuna is also delish. I typically like to pair this dish with a side of steamed rice and veggies, but there are plenty of other ways to enjoy seared ahi tuna. Add it to a salad, make it the star of some fish tacos, or load it into a sushi-style burrito. Next time you’re feeling lazy but still want to enjoy a meal that feels super fancy, this sesame ...

Ancho Chile Ground Beef Tacos

There’s just something truly classic about ground beef tacos. While they aren’t exactly authentic, they taste like childhood and bring us all back to simpler times. My mom used to serve beef tacos every time I had friends over and we would devour them. Fast forward to a number of years later, and I still can’t get enough! Nowadays, I like to get my creative juices flowing and create fun, healthier twists on the dishes I grew up with. And this recipe does just that without missing out on the good ol’ comfort of classic beef tacos! The secret? A delicious homemade spice blend that adds tons of flavor without any of those hard-to-pronounce preservatives. While not authentically Mexican, these ancho chile ground beef tacos are absolutely delicious, comforting, and way healthier than the tacos I remember eating as a kid. (Sorry, mom!) Whether you’re looking for the ultimate weeknight dinner or the perfect recipe to feed a crowd on game day, these ground beef tacos do not disappoint. Look...

Creamy Banana Popsicles

Have you ever heard of “ nice cream ” aka ice cream made from bananas? It’s gained explosive popularity in recent years among the health foodie community, and for good reason. After they are frozen, bananas become super creamy when blended, resulting in a final product that is incredibly similar to ice cream. With this in mind, I naturally had to create a recipe for homemade banana popsicles. While bananas already blend into a creamy texture, this recipe calls for the addition of Greek yogurt to add a ton of protein and make the popsicles even MORE creamy. Next, we add maple syrup to the mixture to enhance the sweetness of the bananas and make them even more delicious. Our final ingredient is vanilla extract, which enhances the rest of these wonderful flavors and ties it all together. Each of the ingredients used in this homemade popsicle recipe enhances the awesome flavor and texture of our creamy and nutritious bananas. The final result is a popsicle that you won’t even believe i...
