Mummy Pizza Dippers

Breaking out of our normal recipe routine to share these cute little Mummy Flatbread Dippers that I will be making with my kiddos this Halloween. They couldn't be easier to make, the kids can help, and you can personalize with all your favorite pizza toppings.  This year Halloween looks different than normal for most of us. That means I am trying to create as much magic as I can at home to make this Halloween feel special since we can't do many of our favorite activities.  In our house, that's going to start with a special Halloween menu. Our table will include these yummy pizza mummies, some orange and green spaghetti (died with food coloring), pumpkin hummus and veggies, and some apple monsters.   How to Make Mummy Pizza Dippers These are seriously easy to make and I always get my kids to help! Start by laying out the mini Naan bread pieces on a baking sheet. If you like, season them up with a spray of cooking spray (or brush of olive oil) and some garlic powder and

Roasted Green Beans

If you aren't roasting your green beans, it's a game-changer. These incredibly easy, super flavorful green beans with crispy edges and a touch of caramelization couldn't be more delicious. Thye will make a green bean lover out of anyone. These grilled green beans are also an amazing way to change someone's mind about green beans.  The best thing about green beans is that they're always in season. Sure, sometimes you might find them looking better than others, but I can always find enough to make a delicious vegetable side dish. Have you ever had Roasted Green Beans? If not, you're totally missing out! Roasting them brings out their sweetness while keeping them still tender-crisp. Plus, they only take a max of about 15 minutes in the oven! So if you're looking for a fast, delicious veggie side dish, then look no further than these roasted green beans with balsamic, Italian herbs, and a little bit of garlic. Delicious! Pumpkin Spice Overnight Oatmeal

If you love overnight oats, you've got to try this pumpkin spice version. It's filling, healthy, naturally sweetened, and has all the flavors of pumpkin spice. Perfect to have prepped in the fridge for busy mornings.  While it's true that autumn may be the time of year when pumpkin spice truly shines in the spotlight (I'm looking at you, certain mega coffee chain) – why limit yourself to only indulging your love of all things pumpkin spice during that season, when you're making it at home?! No matter the weather outside (frightful or not), Pumpkin Spice Overnight Oats is a breakfast you can enjoy all year long, and a grand way to get your pumpkin spice fix any time of year – without it feeling weird. However, there are a few things I should really get out before you go down to the recipe – including how to make it the morning you want it, instead of overnight.  What Goes in Overnight Oats? Barbecue Cheddar Turkey Burger

These turkey burgers are anything but boring! By infusing the lean ground turkey with barbecue sauce and spices and topping everything with melted cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, and grilled onions - you get a meal everyone will love.   To be honest, in the past I had been ordering and making more beef burgers than other kinds of burgers. Although I certainly like the taste of turkey burgers, sometimes I find they can get a bit dry or bland if not done correctly. My friend changed all that for me when she served these delicious Barbecue Cheddar Turkey Burgers. Her secret? Add some of the barbecue sauce to the patty to keep everything nice and moist. Trust me on this, it's a game-changer,  She also makes sure that the meat is really well seasoned with Worcestershire, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Everything is topped with some grilled onions and cheddar cheese and — voila! — not only did we eat a really delicious meal, but she made a turkey burger convert out of me! What

Roasted Garlic Salmon and Vegetable Farro Bowls

This post is sponsored by Unilever . The opinions and text are all mine. Quick and easy weeknight dinners are always in high demand and these Roasted Garlic Salmon Bowls are bound to be one of your favorites. They bring restaurant flavor right into your own home kitchen. This is one of those meals that you can prepare in no time with minimal prep work and cleaning. It’s quick to throw together and with the help of two special ingredients, this roasted salmon becomes something crave-worthy. This recipe starts out like many others with a lean protein, veggies, and a whole grain. In this case, we start with some beautiful salmon brushed with lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and basil. On the same baking sheet, I add some fresh veggies. I reached for cherry tomatoes, zucchini, and red onions – but you could use any quick cooking veggies you have on hand. While the salmon cooks, I love to make some whole grain farro on the side. If you haven’t had farro before, it’s a nutty fiber and
